Description: The caster creates a glyph with the purpose of 'staining' an object with the essence of death. This spell will be used for transmutation of materials.
- A single item that has undergone transmutation can undergo the same process up to four times, each time becoming stronger with Astrium it holds.,
- Only one transmuted item may exist at a time.
Ingredients: Fauxbloom Stalk [1], Fauxbloom Spores [1], Smokeleaf [2], Water [1 cup (1/4 L)]

The creation of Veilbloom requires the following materials:
- 1 Mature Fauxbloom (both stalk and spores),
- 2 Dried Smokeleaves,
- 1 Cup of Water,
To prepare:
- Mark the inside of a neutral material container (such as ceramic) with the "Macula" glyph, ideally on the bottom.,
- Fill a container with water and warm over candle flame for around 10 minutes, or until hot to touch. Snuff flame promptly after.,
- Add Fauxbloom and Smokeleaves into the water and cover container. DO NOT UNCOVER.,
- Steep for 20 minutes. Reignite flame halfway through, then snuff again once finished.,
- Seal the container with wax or tallow and allow the mixture to cool for at least an hour. It can be left for a day at most.,
To transmute:
- Sit and prepare self for meditation.,
- Take the sealed container into both hands with a palm centered on the mark. Close eyes.,
- For at least twelve seconds, slowly and gently guide your Astrium through the mark and into the container itself. This may take practice to pace correctly. Longer meditations make for more potent transmutation (stated further down.)
- Once complete, unseal the container and examine the contents. If the water is inky black along with the fauxbloom and the smokeleaf has fully dissolved, you have successfully obtained Veilbloom.,
- Remove the Veilbloom from the container and leave to sundry for at least a full day.,
- Pour a teaspoon of salt into the residual black water and let sit for a day to neutralize before disposing.
To utilize:
- Place dried Veilbloom into a mortar and pestle and grind into a fine powder.,
- Slow burn the powder via method of preference (candles, incense, pipes),
- Allow the silver wispy smoke glittering with white spores to fumigate.
[ The Enkindled must place the item down during their Turn as a Bonus Action. This will activate after a round. Once activated, the material cannot be moved. ]
Upon exposure:
- One will become fully colorblind.
- Vision will haze and movement will smear.
- The body will quickly numb and feel lighter.
- Internal ailments will be consumed by the spore-filled smoke.
- Dead material such as rot or decay will begin to slowly pale and bud with black Veilcap.
By casting the spell multiple times over one Veilbloom, the following effects occur:
Astrium Tier 1:
- Radius = 1 Block,
- Gain +1 success to Constitution and Endurance rolls,
Astrium Tier 2:
- Radius = 2 Blocks,
- Undead starting their turn in the smoke will become [Slowed] for 1 Round.,
- Plus effects from Tier 1,
Astrium Tier 3:
- Gain -1 success to Dexterity and Perception rolls,
- Undead starting their turn in the smoke will take a Minor Wound.,
- Plus effects from Tier 2,
Astrium Tier 4:
- Radius = 3 Blocks,
- Undead starting their turn in the smoke will have Disadvantage of All Rolls for 1 Round.,
