Achieved Goal: "Heal someone from near-death with healing magic"
While exploring the outskirts of Sanctuary's Isle, Ander Was ambushed by a pack of beasts from the more dangerous areas of Volaris. In the chaos of the attack, he is gravely injured—crushed beneath the weight of a beast's strike, bleeding out rapidly in the dense underbrush. His vision blurs as the sounds of the battle fade away, and he can feel his life slipping away. Desperate, he reaches out with his remaining strength, touching the ground and muttering a plea to whatever forces might hear his wavering voice.
In that moment, a strange sensation flows through him—a pulse of warmth, like the moon itself spoke to him. The surrounding flora reacts as if alive, with vines and roots wrapping around Anders wounds, stopping the bleeding. The beasts seem to hesitate, and he feels a renewed sense of vitality course through them, pulling them back from the brink of death. Though he narrowly survives, the experience marks a deep, mystical connection to life energy, unlocking the understanding of and ability to manipulate life magic. This would lead him to eventually swear his oath to protect, heal, and mend the world and its people. This results in the creation of his Tenets and makes a clear path for his future rank ups as enkindled and story progression.

Name: Overgrowth
Branch: Occult | Life
Effect: Movement
Range: 8 Blocks
Duration: 1 Round
Description: The Caster can cause natural growth on any surface within their range. Either:
They can create roots or vines to swing from or as though they were ropes.
They can use moss as padding to soften their footing. This will provide 1 extra success on stealth checks.
As a reaction, it can be used to soften a fall from short heights, negating 1 block of fall damage.
These sprouts fade quickly and cannot be used to trap or bind enemies directly

Name: Self Defense
Branch: Generic Defense
Effect: Defence
Range: Self
Casting Time: Reaction
Duration: Once Per Round
Description: The Enkindled quickly form a small area of their magic where they can block an attack in the form of a shield. This allows them to use their [Mind + Arcana] to block a single attack per round. Thus, replacing their need to make a defensive roll using Dexterity or Endurance/Athletics against one turn. There are no additional effects to using this.

For the rest of the round, if they are attacked again, they will not be able to defend with magic and will have to return to using the normal defense [Body + Dexterity/Athletics]. Once the Caster’s Action turn has passed, the Defense Cantrip can be used as a reaction again.

Casting Time: 1 Turn, Action

Duration: Instant
Description: The caster may perform a ranged attack without using any Astrium. This attack will have no additional effects, working in the same way as a typical ranged attack using [Mind + Arcana] against an opponent's Defense roll.
  • The caster will be at a disadvantage if their target is within 5 blocks.
  • You may flavor this how you wish for aesthetic purposes.

Name: Glow
Branch: Generic Utility
Effect: Perception
Range: Self
Duration: Instant
Description: The caster creates a source of illumination from their palm, lighting up the area the same as a MC torch. This light requires consistent focus on the part of the caster, and should they stop focusing upon the spell the light will immediately fizzle out.

You may flavor this how you wish for aesthetic purposes.

Name: Kind Touch: lvl1
Branch: Occult/Life
Level/Cost: 1 Effect:
Healing Range: Self/Touch
Casting Time: 1 Bonus Action OR 1 Turn Duration: Instant Description: The caster uses their astrium to swiftly rid of a small ailment. Upon touch, the caster [Cures] their target from 1 negative effect. If this spell is cast as an Action, it also heals that target for 1 Minor Wound.
You could alternatively switch the effects so the 1 Minor Wound heal is the Bonus Action aspect, and casting as a full action will perform the additional effect Cure instead!



Name: Moonlight Eyes
Branch: Occult | Life

Effect: Boon
Range: Self
Casting Time: Bonus Action
Duration: 3 Rounds
Casting Roll: Mind + Arcana
Description: The caster's eyes fill with moon light giving a faint silvery glow. As they look through these new eyes they see into the true nature of those around them. The target may defend against the caster using any defense roll. If the target is successful, the caster will not be able to see their nature.If the caster succeeds, the nature will be displayed as a faint glow around the target. If they fall under multiple, Blessed Auras will show over Cursed Auras and Cursed Auras will show over Empty Auras. The secondary Aura will always appear faintly shadowing the primary:
Blessed Gold Aura- Enkindled, Faithful, Fated,
Cursed Black Aura - Hungered, Curses, Shifter,
Empty White Aura - Mundane, Martial,
If the Cursed individual is either a T3 Hunger or harbors a powerful curse (up to the DM) the Cursed Black Aura will be much more defined.

Casting Time: 1 Turn
Duration: 1 Turn
Casting Roll: Mind + Arcana
Description: The caster envelopes an area in a dim light to inflict targets inside the area with a searing ghostly pain. Targets within the area must defend against the casting roll. If they fail, they receive Roll Damage up to a Moderate Wound. The targets nature will also be revealed openly as a coloured glow around the target. If they fall under multiple, Blessed Auras fill show over Cursed Auras and Cursed Auras will show over Empty Auras. The secondary Aura will always appear shadowing the primary:

Those who fall under the Cursed category will have disadvantage on their next attack roll. The caster may choose to re-cast this effect up to an additional two consecutive times afterwards with no cost. Taking a Major Wound+ or making a different action consumes the recasts and prevents them from being used. They may still move and perform Bonus Actions.
