Planar

“The divisions of all things, particles upon particles and realms upon realms. This is the parable which we call Planar, that all things are divided and aligned into perfect shape and order.”

Planar magic thrives in management, gathering or transporting various creatures.
It has access to vast mobility and powerful summons, should they be earned.

With the ability to move creatures into and out of harm's way, comes a lack of harm itself.
Planar struggles to bear sufficient power outside of the collection of summons.

In essence, Planar can bridge the gap between desired outcomes, but struggles to set it in stone.

Range: 10 Blocks
Casting Time: 2 Turns
Duration: 3 Turns
Casting Roll: Mind + Arcana, 4+ Successes
Description: The caster is able to create two 1x3x3 portals within eyesight, linked between each other to transport targets. A portal is made at a start and end location within 10 Blocks from each other. Individuals and projectiles that cross through suffer no cost to their movement or reach for the distance of the portal.
Name: Void of Holding
Branch: Astral | Planar
Level/Cost: Apprentice, 2
Effect: Enchanting
Range: Touch
Casting Time: 1 Turn
Duration: Indefinite
Casting Roll: Mind + Arcana
Description: The caster has access to their own pocket dimension, where hand-held items can be stored infinitely. To access this dimension they must enchant any given closable container such as a bag or chest (Up to the size of a picnic basket).

The enchantment allows anyone to pull items from it, so long as the item they seek is inside the resulting void. Items held within the void are kept in the same physical state as when they entered it. For example, food will not spoil at all.

If the container is destroyed, a sudden scattering of items can occur: Targets near the container (including the caster) will have to make a defense roll against the caster’s spell roll. Failure results in Roll Damage, and any properties of these items besides damage. The area of effect scales with the amount of items stored inside the container:
  • 15-31 = 1 Block Radius
  • 32-63 = 2 Blocks Radius
  • 64+ = 3 Blocks radius
Should the caster attempt to enchant another container with this spell while already having an existing Void of Holding, it will remove the enchantment from the old object and create a link with the new container instead. This will retain access to all of the items contained in the old container.
