The Dancer focuses on synchronisation and teamwork, finding themselves in better situations when paired with an ally.

The dancer specialises in their movement while delivering attacks in a more precise and structured manner, taking increased benefit by watching another's movements.


Passives

The Dancer receives the following passive effects:

Initiate - Deadly Grace
The Dancer has a refined deadly grade which is as lethal as it is awe inspiring. As a reaction that does not require nor consume their reaction, they may designate an Ally within 10 Blocks as their [Dance Partner]. While the [Dance Partner] remains within 15 Blocks of the Dancer, specific abilities cast on the Dancer will be shared with their [Dance Partner] and vice versa.

They may also choose to re-cast this ability to remove their [Dance Partner], but both adding and removing a [Dance Partner] puts this ability on cooldown for 1 round. Additionally, this enhances the Inspire ability to:
  • Remove the once per round Cooldown
  • Allows it to be used with [Body + Performance]
  • Allows it to be used as a Bonus Action or Action. Both can be used on the same turn, but require separate targets
When cast on their [Dance Partner] the [Inspired] effect is granted to the Dancer too

Skill Roll: N/A
Description: After the Dancer is targeted by or makes an attack, they may use this as a reaction. This provides no additional effects on the defense or attack itself.

Regardless of whether the Dancer succeeds or not, they will dash 3 blocks in a horizontal direction of their choice without invoking Attacks of Opportunity for the initial dash and 1 Round afterwards.

Alternatively, this can be used as a Bonus Action on the user’s turn. This ability cannot be used more than once on the user’s turn (But can still be used as a reaction to being attacked).

Description: The Dancer syncs their movements to a steady rhythm, enhancing their strikes. This grants the user [Hastened] and Advantage on Defense for 1 round.

Skill Roll: Body + Dexterity
Description: The Dancer starts a spiralling lethal series of movements, moving swiftly and damaging targets they pass by. On cast, the Dancer rolls their Skill Roll requiring any targets they move within 1 Block of to roll a defense against it, inflicting a Minor Wound and [Slowed] for 1 round on failure.

This effect lasts for 1 round, and also grants the user [Hastened] for the duration.
