The Guardian School focuses on defending against as much damage as possible. Typically, they will sacrifice their offensive capabilities to enhance their defending.
The Guardian specializes in protecting others as well as themselves, locking down the arts of reflexive skills in defending to such a high level. Despite their initial duty being to defend, this will not stop them from attacking.

The Guardian is immune to Disadvantage on Defense and Knockback. Additionally, they can use a shield as a Weapon which is treated as a Short, Light, Melee Weapon which can be dual wielded.
- This enhances Shield Block by removing the restriction of being used once per round.
- This also allows Swift Strike to add successfully blocking an attack as a trigger condition.
- The Damage of Swift Strike is capped at a Minor Wound when triggered by the blocking reaction.
- Should they use Shield Block when already having 2 stacks of Advantage on Defense, they will instead gain +1 Success on their defense rolls for the duration.
