User The_Reaper_Angel was banned for breach of contract with moderation. Following reports from the player base, she was asked to make a formal apology for breaching the server and staff rules, instead of making a sincere apology, she elected to use AI to create an apology before continuing to show the same attitudes complained about in a VC. This ban will stand for 3 months, or until the server is fully launched, which ever comes first.

Due to the further actions of this user, it is moderations decision to extend this ban, opting instead for a permanent ban, with the opportunity to appeal after 3 months.

Due to recent events, The Moderation Team and The Server Owners have agreed to a full transparency report in regards to this ban and the events leading up to it. After this post, the thread will be locked and no further action will be taken. Should any member of the community have any questions, please do not hesitate to create a Moderation Ticket.

Timeline of Events, Links to Google Docs with Chats that have Screenshots of Posts as well as Text Transcripts:

• Comments made in VC in regards to Members both OOCly and ICly that made several people uncomfortable. [ X X ]
• In Staff Chat, became highly combative in regards to being told that if she is having IRL issues that are causing her stress to the point of lashing out that she needed to step away. [ X ]
• Ticket created to request an apology for her words in the VC. Refusal unless we give out the person's information. Denied, as this would negate the anonymous factor of the ticket system that we have promised in regards to reporting. An apology was given. [ X ]
• In a VC call in the Staff Chat with Mod TL and Server Owner, admitted to both blatantly that it was an AI generated apology. Laughed it off. [ X ]
• Apology request was moved to a Ban. At this point, Cho stepped back due to Personal Connection. [ X ]
• Was told the ban was either Until Server was Fully Open, or 3 Months. Immediately went to server owner instead of filing a proper report in regards to her concerns. (For Privacy Reason, DMs between Members will not be displayed in this post.)
• After Staff decision, Ban was made for 3 months with Appeal. As well as her response. [ X X ]
• Took to the Forums to post an apology. Staff Discussed. [ X X ]
• Discovered that her Connection to the Beginning of the Server left her with the ability to attempt to delete the Server Email. This email being the one that Sonder as a whole is based off of. As well as further retaliation. [ X X X ]

These are the logs in which we based our decisions. This is where we stand in regards to her, now, permanent ban. She has the chance to appeal in 3 months. However, the ban has been moved to a permanent ban until further notice.

Once again, should anyone have any comments, concerns, or any further information in regards to this ongoing situation, please do not hesitate to reach out to Moderation Team. However, we implore that you use the proper channels. Logs and details of this nature are not possible without using the Ticket System, as this was almost entirely pulled from closed and saved tickets. And this reason is why we must insist on filing tickets. Not for the sake of us funneling you all into lines to deal with you as we see fit. But this way, we also have logs and records of what we say, what was said by the offending party, as well as what is brought forward to the Moderation Team as concerns or issues that need to be addressed.

We hope that in the future, actions of this nature are not required. We apologize once again for any party that has been effected by this situation on behalf of Mara herself. And we, the Moderation Team, will continue to be available for any issues that come up within the community in the future.
