Return to Sanctuary Edition!

Welcome again to another newsletter, bringing you the state of affairs to the server. A lot has happened in the past few weeks so this newsletter will be full of information!

Staff Updates

With our stay in Vorona coming to a close, our story moves to Sanctuary; the brave souls rejoin their king and country. Additionally, much work has been done behind the scenes and is an on-going effort by our various teams.

✥ Build Team - Build has been working tireless to put out the final edits on Sanctuary, bringing us a much newer and improved layout of the city just in time for our arrival. In addition, they continue to expand upon the city to the south and west of the walls, adding more green space, homes and generally roleplayable area.

✥ Systems Team - Systems has been hard at work with edits to the Hunger system, finalizing many spells and mechanics of the Enkindled / Magic system and making active and continuous edits to the rolling system as flaws and shortcomings make themselves known. Another minor rework of the combat system is likely in the near future!

✥ Lore Team - Has been hard at work bringing more information about the setting to the players. Currently, the Standards of Sanctuary document was release (by myself c:) but more lore for scheduled for public release nears completion, such as the various faiths and practices of the Gods, the Endured, and even wider reaching lore concerning magic and the strange and arcane very soon!

✥ Event Team - Since the grand finale of the Vorona siege by the enemy endured, the server has been largely silent on the event front. But rest assured, we're putting quality before quantity! We're preparing for the upcoming summer by planning and formulating event lines and story arcs for all of us to enjoy in Sanctuary soon, with an event request format coming to the forums in the very near future!

✥ Public Relations - We're hiring! If you're interested, submit an application through the proper ticket on the discord using our format. I'm looking to bring on at least 3-4 more people to the team. If you like reading over applications and helping people by responding to questions in the discord, then come and join us!

Upcoming Events and Planned Updates!

Various upcoming events and updates to the server, looking towards the future!

✥ Noble Ascension! - At the behest of the noble powers in Sanctuary, applicable individuals and families will undergo quests and trials to prove their capability and worthiness to a noble title! If you're interested, apply via the format listed on the discord through a ticket! The deadline is 02/23, so hurry before it's too late!

✥ Calendar Plugin - With the finalizing of Sonders seasons, months and holidays, plans to incorporate a plugin to tell one the current IC time is in the works! This will allow people to more accurately plan IC actions and also prepare for the celebration of various holidays! We encourage people to observe them and host gatherings when interested!

As a parting note, thank you to everyone who made our time in Vorona awesome, the community is turning out wonderfully and the server has been incredibly fun for me! I hope it continues to be fun for all people involved! Here's to more fun and incredible roleplay in the coming month
