Giant Spiders
Common
Giant Spiders are terrifying arachnids, much larger than their mundane counterparts. They possess a hairy, robust body, eight long legs equipped with sharp bristles, and multiple gleaming eyes that grant them excellent vision in the dark. Their fangs are capable of injecting a potent venom that paralyzes their prey. Giant Spiders are master ambushers, lurking in shadows and spinning webs to trap the unwary.
Habitat and Society
Giant Spiders are commonly found in dark, damp environments such as caves, dense forests, and abandoned ruins. They create large, intricate webs that serve both as a hunting ground and as a home. Solitary by nature, Giant Spiders are fiercely territorial and will aggressively defend their lairs. Occasionally, they may form loose colonies if resources are plentiful, but these gatherings are often fraught with internal conflict.
