Changes and Growth!

Welcome to another newsletter, where you can find all the updates from the past weeks and ideas on how you can get involved in the server!

STAFF UPDATES

✥ Build Team – As our population continues to grow, the Build Team remains committed to shaping the Sanctuary into a place you can truly be proud of. The new High Nobility district is steadily coming to life, alongside exciting updates to the walls and castle. Additionally, new districts are being developed, offering even more housing and shopping opportunities. With many more enhancements on the horizon, there’s plenty to look forward to in the future! 

✥ Systems Team – With the new release of the Enkindled, the Systems Team continues to work diligently to resolve any bugs and ensure that those drawn to the Arcane have the freedom to create while maintaining balance. Additionally, they are making steady progress on the introduction of Mounts, beginning with the release of Mounted Combat mechanics. There’s much more to come, so stay tuned for future updates! 

✥ Lore Team – The Lore Team is hard at work expanding the world of Sonder – diving deeper into the deities, exploring the Realms of Sonder, and developing the economics and intricate details of the civilization your characters call home. They’re also introducing Tieflings and reworking Hunger lore to enrich the world even further. There’s plenty in the works, so keep an eye out for more! 

✥ Event Team – After doing away with Ignition Events, the Event Team has opened up Player Event requests, allowing for unique, player-driven event lines tailored to individual characters or groups. In the coming weeks, Minor Events will also be making a return, offering shorter one-offs or intriguing plot hooks that may lead to larger events down the line. The Event Team is hard at work to bring your characters the stories you’ve been waiting for!

✥ Public Relations – We are hiring! I’m looking to hire 2-3 more members, so if you enjoy helping those in the server, answer questions, and look over applications, submit an application through the ticket system in the discord server under “General Support.”  

✥ Moderation Team – The Moderation Team is hiring! If you’re passionate about maintaining a safe and welcoming community, and have previous experience in Moderation, now is your chance to join. Check out the application on the forums and submit a ticket through Moderation to apply.

UPCOMING EVENTS! 

✥ Heart’s Warmth Ball – This is a Player Event hosted in celebration of one of the Sanctuary's most beloved holidays – All-Hearts Day. Falling on the 44th of Moonsfall (March 22nd OOC), All-Hearts Day is a romantic tradition dating back to nearly the First Age. It is said the Mother herself once guided lost lovers back to one another on this day, inspiring people to share their affections and confess romantic feelings. The Heart’s Warmth Ball is graciously hosted by House Lebedev and sponsored by House Asetus – a night of elegance, connection, and celebration awaits! 

✥ Transition from Moonsfall to Vorisal – As the winter months fade, the Sanctuary welcomes the season of growth with the arrival of Vorisal. Spanning fifteen days of winter and forty-five days of spring, Vorisal marks the gradual warming of temperatures and the melting of snow. As the ground thaws, the farming regions come alive, preparing for the planting season ahead. Vorisal will officially begin on April 1st and run through the entire OOC month – ushering in a time of renewal, growth, and new beginnings.

It’s exciting to see the growth and new faces every day, so on behalf of PR and all of Sonder Staff, keep creating and here’s to more incredible roleplay and events in the coming month!
