Plugins​

This page will server as a landing spot for all current and future plugins, as well as a tutorial regarding commands and uses. Around commands there will be [square brackets], these are so you know which part of the command is necessary, but the brackets should be removed

Character and Chats​

To get started in roleplay on the server, we use a chat and character card plugin.

We have a handful of channels
[/rp] is the common channel for rp, at around 25 blocks.
[/q] for a quiet channel, around 7 blocks.
/w] for the whisper channel, this is about 3 blocks.
[/shout] for the shouting channel, this channel is about 40 blocks.

If you with to part take in OOC chats, such as global or a local OOC chat, please use [/ooc] and [/looc] respectively.

When setting up a character to utilize crafting, combat, and professions, use the command [/characters] to create a character card for our skills plugin. It will prompt you with name, description, height, weight, and race.

To have a visible name in the tab and chat use [/character] and ensure the name field is filled out.

After you have created this sheet you can use [/skill] to assign skill points that will be used in events and possibly day-to-day rp. With this comes the rolling system. Players are able to use [/skillroll] and tab to autocomplete the input to roll using their assigned points.

Combat
[Mechanics]​

Players can use the [/skillroll] command to roll against DMs, other players, or for their own fun.

There is also an alternative roll using [/diceroll xdx] for any other roll option. When taking damage, players are able to use [/injure] to keep track of how much damage they have taken.

When healing, players can use [/heals] in order to keep track of any healing they receive. Damage and injuries can be found at this page.

Professions
[Crafting Resources]​

We have a custom plugin on our server for crafting and professions!

When you first join the server and create a character, you can use the [/crafting] command to select a profession, there is a maximum of 2 professions per account currently.

The professions are as follows: Alchemist, Blacksmith, Lumberjack, Ornamentalist, Tailor, Provisoner. Each profession will split off into a dedicated subbranch at the third level, of which you have a choice between which you choose to do.

The subbranches are also in order: Alchemist -> Herbalist or Metallurgist; Blacksmith -> Bladesmith or Armorsmith; Lumberjack > Fletcher or Shipwright; Ornamentalist -> Gem cutter or Sculptor; Tailor -> Tanner or Weaver; Provisoner -> Chef or Brewer.​

Crafting​

To craft using your profession, there are blocks in the world that will be designated as crafting stations. Such as specific anvils, cauldrons, looms, etc. These crafting stations are created by staff and will often be located within reasonable locations (blacksmithing within a forge, or a location called "crafting station" with a sign) They can be interacted with to show a special menu to those with the correct profession.

There are two variants of items, signable and unsignable. Unsignable items are things like ingots, ores, and unrefined gems. Signable items are the end result of crafting two components into full item. (Such as an iron weapon part and an oak hilt into a short weapon) Crafting components and full items will result in a cooldown on crafting for a period of time, as well as gaining experience for each one.

Signable items are able to be lored by players, when they are right clicked a book will take place of it in your inventory. Colour codes are supported, but hex codes are not. The first page of this book is the name of the item, the second and third pages are the place to write lore. Please ensure you fill out the second page completely before writing on the third to prevent formatting issues. When you sign the book, please use the name of the character who crafted the item.

Full items that are not signed and lored are not counted as items that can be used in roleplay settings, and you may receive a warning if you attempt to use unlored items in roleplay.​

Harvesting
Secondary to crafting is harvesting.​

When using the command [/harvest menu] You can choose between: Miner, Gatherer, Butcher. These are secondary professions and is per account rather than per character and is considered more of an OOC aspect of the server.

There are zones in certain allowed worlds that are a glowing green particle border. When you stand inside of those zones you can use the command [/harvest] and it will deplete the zone after giving you a material. These materials can be used in the crafting system mentioned prior, with the only other method of gaining materials being via IC events.

After a certain number of harvests, your harvesting profession will increase in level giving a chance for double drops!​

The harvest commands will only work when used within the survival world.​

Items​

When in RP, the only items that your character can have with them are items created within the crafting system mentioned above.

That is to mean that armor can only be represented by armor items created by smiths, same with weapons. Mundane items such as flowers, cutlery, dishes, or various articles of common clothing, do not require a representative item.

Items crafted using the basic MC recipes and are not unique items within the plugin do not count as items that can be used within roleplay. Minecraft items such as fish, stone, diamond or iron axes, are considered to not exist within roleplay at all. We have the ability to show an item in the roleplay chat!

If you type [ i ] with the square brackets and no spaces while holding the item you wish to show, it will appear as a tooltip once you press enter and hover over it in chat!

Auction House​

Players can utilize the command [/ah] to sell and buy things on a global marketplace anonymously in character, these items are assumed to be submitted to a guild or otherwise IC marketplace where an NPC handles the sales regarding submitted items.

It is unknown who you have purchased from, but otherwise allows for players to take part in the economy without requiring RP involving buying and selling.

Star Mail​

To simulate mail and in character letters, we utilize a plugin known as Star mail. Characters can purchase letters and mailboxes from a post office located near spawn.

These letters can be delivered by using [/sendto name], after which it can be picked up at a personal mailbox.
