Mounts
Mounts are a powerful method of amplifying combat, by riding a creature with great skill. However, a mount has its own HP, which makes it vulnerable to enemies who attack it.- In most cases, mounts merely become incapacitated or flee upon reaching 0 HP.
- In high-difficulty events or with player permission however, they can be slain.
- When reduced to 0 HP, the rider falls receiving a Moderate Wound.
Capabilities
When riding a mount, only skilled riders will be able to use its speed and abilities. Otherwise, they will move and dash at default speed (5-10 blocks) or slower mount speed. The skill difficulty for each is determined by a necessary level of Leadership skill investments.A rider can attack or defend using the mount’s inherent capabilities, such as a Horse’s hooves. This will require a [Body+Leadership] roll instead of the typical roll the rider/creature would use.
Mounts cannot use the Disengage action.
